Great shime daiko, great quality and workmenship, my husband loves it.
The three bolt tuned shime daiko have arrived and they are spectacular! Thank you for your quality work. If we can be of help in recommending taikos.com, please let us know.
We received our shime daiko today, and I must say...WE LOVE IT!!! Thank you so much for a great product. The resonance and clarity of this drum is amazing. We will be in contact with you in the future for 2 more... Definitely worth the short wait to have you make this for us.
Received our chu-daiko (nagado daiko) Friday afternoon. We debut the drum during our Obon Festival. The drum is really great!!! It was so well tuned that its loud beat made me deaf and I couldn\'t here my Sensei playing and I was off beat for most of a 4 minute song. This drum had a distinct, loud and clean sound!!
Just want to let you know I really love my new shime. Learned how to retighten ropes and I'm practicing every day with it. Thank very much. Mahalo & Aloha.
The okedo arrived last week to me in Finland. I was worried about it traveling such a long distance, but it arrived in perfect condition. The shell has beautiful grain and the heads are so thick it produces a very deep tone.
It has really been a pleasure doing business with you. You really go the extra mile for customer satisfaction. Please feel free to use me as a reference for other potential customers. I hope to do business with you again.
Thank you. My taiko came today, it is very nice -- thank you so much.
I cannot tell you sufficiently how magnificent and sonorous the drum is, and how much we appreciate it. The drum and stand are much larger than I\'d anticipated. Seeing them in person is astonishing. I\'ve been admiring the structure of our Hira Daiko drum today. The wooden body has lovely woodgrain, and is absolutely perfectly aligned, all the way around the circumference of the drum. I can't even see any delineation between one piece of wood and the next piece. How on earth did you do that?!
We ordered a pair of 48" okedo daiko heads last year and we finally finished our drum earlier this year. It sounds and looks good after hours and hours of hard work!
